Who we are
Natoor is an app that helps neighbours run their building together: shared expenses, the maintenance fund, messages, announcements, alerts, votes and a calendar. In this policy "we" means the company that operates Natoor. You can contact us at hello@natoor.app.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address, mobile number (confirmed with a code), language and, if you add one, a photo.
- What you add in your building: expenses and receipts, payments, messages (text, voice and photos), announcements, alerts, votes, calendar events, meter readings, documents, Swap & Share items and reviews.
- Your business, if you list one in the marketplace: business name, contact details, areas, photos and offers.
- Technical information: a notification token for your phone so we can send you notifications, and basic records of when the app talks to our servers.
We do not collect your contacts, your location in the background, or your browsing outside Natoor.
Why we use it
- To run your building on Natoor: work out shares and balances, send reminders and notifications, show neighbours what you share in the building.
- To send messages you ask for (invitations and codes by WhatsApp, SMS or email).
- To read a receipt photo or a sentence when you use quick expense entry. The photo or text is sent to our AI provider only to fill in the form; you check it before anything is saved.
- To keep Natoor safe: handle reports, stop abuse and keep a record of changes to money records.
Who can see it
- Your neighbours in the same building see what you share there (your name, apartment, expenses, messages in building conversations, announcements). Private chats are only between the two people in them.
- Building admins see the building's details needed to manage it, including who has paid.
- Natoor staff can see information when needed to give support or handle a report.
- Service providers that run parts of Natoor for us: database and file hosting, sending WhatsApp/SMS/email messages, push notifications and AI reading of receipts. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
We never sell your information. If ads are shown in the app, they do not use your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you have an account. Building money records (expenses, payments, balances) belong to the building and stay after you leave or delete your account, shown as "Former resident", so neighbours' balances stay correct. Data exports are deleted after 7 days.
Your choices and rights
- Correct your name, language and notification settings in the app.
- Block people and report content in the app.
- Delete your account at any time: Profile → Delete my account. Your personal information, messages, items and business are deleted; building money records stay without your name.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or ask any other question, at hello@natoor.app.
Children
Natoor is for people of the minimum age shown in the app for your country (13 or older unless stated otherwise).
Security
Information is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access rules so each person only sees what they are allowed to. No system is perfect; tell us if you think something is wrong.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, the app will ask you to read and accept it again.
